Bioderma is a skin care manufacturer in Lyon, France which cooperates with dermatologists and labs worldwide to make skin products available through a physician's prescription.

Bioderma is especially designed to work with allergy-prone and sensitive skin. But they've got something for everybody.

One of the BioDerma products offered to prevent wrinkles is 'Photoderm Anti-Age'. This is a sunblock/anti-aging cream. Ingredients include: dicaprylyl carbonate and octocrylene. Natural ingredients in this Photoderm cream are yeast extract and extract of the licorice root.

Their other skin care line is called 'White Objective' and it consists of a serum, White Objective Day Cream, and White Objective Cleansing Solution mainly for lightening skin with discolorations due to age or sunlight. These help prevent further darkening. Ingredients are : alcohol denat., glycolic acid, peptides, and again licorice root extract.

Vitamin C (a major ingredient Bioderma says prevents melanin production, or the cause of pigmentation) is also present. Truly, Vitamin C is used a lot as an antioxidant in skin care products.

Since these products are available by prescription only, it must mean they're more effective than over-the-counter products. The cream is around £30 ($43.95), and all seem to be sold at a mediocre price.

Bioderma gives us an informative website which also provides advice for potential users by dermatologists. They are completely hypoallergenic and free of fragrance, providing UV protection as well.

Our research gives us a good clue as to which BioDerma products are most popular among users and reviews : Among the Moisturizers, there are the following most popular treatments : Bioderma Sensibio light soothing cream, the Atoderm Nourishing Cream Very Dry Sensitive Skin, the Hydrabio Legere, Sensibio Forte and Sebium AKN, the Hydrabio Riche for dehydrated and sensitive skin, and the Sensibio AR.
Among the 'Masks' we see most popular masks to be : the Bioderma Sensibio Mask and the Atoderm Hydrabio Masque Hydratant.

As of the time of our review, you can't buy online at their website, but the creams and products can be bought on other websites (UK stockists and online outlets, where we've seen free trial samples available too. Discounts are possible if you can get your hands on a promotional coupon code that is available from time to time.)

The only other things left out of the official website are details on the research done for these products, testimonials, and prices. In addition, French sections in the website make it not as internationally-friendly. Other than that, having an official website is great!

When it comes to anti-aging solutions, all Bioderma seems to offer are remedies for prevention of sun and age spots. So if you're looking to lose wrinkles that already exist, you may need to look for a more intense product. Making up your mind, perhaps you are interested in investigating the alternatives
