Imported from Malaysia, the Cellnique Firming Serum is a product used to tighten the facial skin, thus reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. The Cellnique Company, which produces the Cellnique Firming Serum, is geared towards home beauty regimens and spa treatments.

The Cellnique Firming Serum is reputed to have a unique combination of anti-aging ingredients. It contains peptides, which can help stimulate the production of collagen, thus revitalizing the skin fibers and promoting skin elasticity. One well-known peptide used in most anti-aging products is argireline or hexapeptide-3, but it is uncertain here whether it is really this peptide form that is found in the Cellnique Firming Serum. Other than peptides, the product contains phyto-estrogen, which is used for estrogen replacement therapy for women undergoing menopause. For phyto-estrogen there is not yet enough evidence for it to be effective in fighting the signs of aging.

It would have been advisable if the product contained matrixyl, since this is proven to enhance the relaxing action of argireline. Matrixyl is also known to stimulate collagen production. Neither real collagen nor hyaluronic acid can be found in this product.

Priced at a range of £55 ($84) to £75 ($114), the Cellnique Firming Serum might not be affordable to the average customer. Moreover, there is no money back guarantee seen at the time of this review. The Celnique producs can be purchased through a number of UK stockists and online stores from retailers. From time to time there are promotional offerings through coupon codes and free trial samples seen. Aside from the high price (unless you find a discount - that is being seen at a number of online shops - there is also the shipping fee, which might further add to the amount that customer should pay. At the official website, at the time of our reviews, no clinical evidence was provided, but there are a few general customer testimonials available for viewing. On other review websites however it seems a number of reviews is positive for the Eye Firming Cream and Serum (the Contour Firming Serum, and de Contour De-Puffy Jewel). Since the inclusion of argireline is uncertain in the reviewed products, it is advisable to scout for other or alternative anti-ageing products that actually contain proven ingredients.
