Chamonix Skin Essentials : Products Reviews

Chamonix, a skin care line developed by a pharmacist, offers a line of anti-aging products referred to as Essentials. The Chamonix Essentials products are said to turn back the hands of aging by clearing the face and neck of lines and wrinkles.

Chamonix has a variety of anti-ageing products available in masks, cleansers and serums. The claims of the products cover most aging complaints such as discoloration and aging with some of the products producing noticeable changes within five minutes of application. A complete ingredient list was not available at the time of these reviews, but the active ingredients include Retinol and Grape Seed Extract. While Retinol is beneficial in removing dead skin to reveal younger, fresher looking skin, it has not been proven as an anti-aging ingredient and it does not remove or prevent wrinkles. Grape Seed Extract acts as moisturising agent. The costs of Chamonix products are rather high. The official website lacks any clinical evidence or customer reviews, and other reviews at cosmetics forums are not giving much of attention to the Chamonix skin care line.

Given that Chamonix was founded by a pharmacist, it is rather curious that ingredients used in the formulation are not displayed or found on the official website. This leads to questions as to whether the product may contain any harmful ingredients such as parabens. When shopping for an anti-aging treatment, it is important to find products that contain proven ingredients such as Collagen or Matrixyl, as well as clinical findings and even customer reviews. On the other hand, the Chamonix Esotique FR and Jeunesse Eye Wrinkle Creams are endorsed by celebrities as Deborah Gibson and Rozonda Chilli Tomas.

So? Given that the price of this product is rather high (around £65 or $99 for a 2 oz jar of Esotique anti wrinkle formula) and the ingredients are unknown, you are likely to find another suitable brand at lower prices. You could be interested in investigating the alternatives
