Christian Dior Capture r60 80 XP Totale : Cream / Serum Review

Christian Dior, an iconic brand in the fashion industry, has more than just expensive clothes and perfumes bearing its renowned name. Dior Capture is Dior's skin care line which promises to deliver immediate and remarkable results in the battle against skin aging and sun damage, and maintain overall skin wellbeing.

Dior has a wide array of products to choose from but the more notable ones are the Christian Dior Capture R60 / 80 Wrinkle Eye Cream and the Dior Capture R60 / 80 XP Ultimate Wrinkle Restoring Creme, which are both formulated and marketed as anti aging skin treatments. As claimed by Dior Cosmetics, what makes its skin care products unique and effective are the key ingredients Alpha-Longoza Complex extracted from a rare plant in Madagascar, and Centuline Complex, which supposedly triggers a 'longevity protein' (stem cells) lying dormant in one's skin cells.

Dior Products are manufactured in France but distributed worldwide through many high-end cosmetics stores and third party accredited merchants. The products however, cannot be purchased through the Dior website. In addition, the official website for Dior Capture (R), while very appealing and translated in various languages, does not offer a complete list of ingredients nor a pricelist for its products.

This Dior Capture line is reported by customers (below) to really revitalize the skin and bring back brightness, plumping up the skin under the eyes. The cream does sink right into the skin and does not leave a greasy film on the skin. Reviews below showing that scars are plumped up, and not causing break outs (with the Anti Taches D30, and the Totale Rituel Nuit) The fragrance is strong but acceptable. Price is expensive, but it is a huge jar, and if you look around there are plenty of online cosmetics shops offering discounts and coupons (look below for the free samples : also for UK, Canada and Australia : com au).

As expected with any product attached to the Dior name, Dior Capture is somewhat expensive for the average consumer. Its assurance of effective results in resolving skin care problems rests primarily on the rare Alpha-Longoza complex, which unfortunately, is not a tried and tested component of anti-aging treatments. The question here really is whether one would be better off buying a skin care line that is cheaper yet proven, or go with celebrity endorser Sharon Stone and the steep price even if the product is relatively untested. The choice is yours.
